Scrappers Delights - Freebie Friday 19/2/16




For this weeks Freebie Friday we have used the Spring Cleaning Honey freebie.

Here is my inspiration for you. I made a plaque to hang in my craft room.





This was a really fun image to use and I love that I made something different to a card.


I coloured the image using the following promarkers: 

Skin - Dusky Pink and Blush .
Hair - Sandstone, Caramel and Cinnamon.
Clothes - Cyan.
Apron - Royal Blue.
Bows and socks - Sky Blue.
Shoes - Warm Grey 1.
Brushes - Walnut and Henna.
Bucket - Cool Grey 2 and Cool Grey 4..
Eyes - Lime Green, Leaf Green and Apple.
Mouth - Sunkissed Pink.
Glasses - Warm Grey 2.


I coloured the image then cut it out without leaving a white border. I made the background by covering cardboard with tinfoil and painting with texture past. When that was dry i painted it using 3 different shades of blue acrylic paint - Light Blue, Cerulean Blue and Brilliant Blue. I blended the colours to add light to dark effects. When dry, i added the digi using 3D glue gel. I printed the phrase onto card and cut out and glued on using the same 3D glue gel. I made holes in each corner and added a double piece of butchers twine to match the project and tied double knots at both ends.
